About The Position

This position involves performing various fabrication and machining operations to produce a quality product. The role requires operating CNC machines, performing quality control checks, and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to safe work habits. This is a second shift position.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
• Ability to perform quality checks using calibrated digital micrometers, various calipers and go/no go gauges to ensure product is within tolerance.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
• Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited school required.
• Pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous machining preferred, NC / CNC operations desired.

Responsibilities

• Performing burning, grinding, shearing, sawing, turning and press brake operations to produce a quality product.
• Operates CNC machines to include turning and milling processes.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing Total Quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality control checks using various measurement equipment.
• Exercise safe work habits.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
