About The Position
This role involves conducting inspections using various tools to ensure quality standards, producing high-quality fabricated parts, and operating production equipment. Responsibilities include machine setup, preparation, fabrication, cleanup, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance. Additionally, the role involves training new employees on processes, equipment, safety, and best practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two plus (2+) years manufacturing experience specifically in sheet metal fabrication or CNC machining.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections in accordance with established gage plans, utilizing calipers, angle gages, and other required inspection equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Produce high-quality fabricated parts using a variety of fabrication equipment.
- Operate production equipment, including loader/unloader stations, drill presses, weld nut stations, saws, and other basic fabrication machinery and tooling.
- Perform inspections using required quality and measurement equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Complete machine setup, work preparation, fabrication, cleanup, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance activities for assigned equipment and work areas.
- Train new employees on processes, equipment, safety requirements, and best practices.
