About The Position

This role follows established procedures and work instructions to support safe, efficient production while learning manufacturing processes and developing technical skills. Responsible for producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment. Responsible for running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling. Conducts inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoots as needed. Responsible for set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of machine center, and quality assurance of own work and work area. Assures compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals. Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications. Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Requirements

  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year Manufacturing Experience
  • Ability to lift/carry 10-50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Operate metal fabrication equipment, including punch presses, shears, rolls, power brakes, and saws, to cut, bend, form, and shape metal components to specification.
  • Producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment.
  • Running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling.
  • Conducts inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoots as needed.
  • Set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of machine center, and quality assurance of own work and work area.
  • Assures compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals.

Benefits

  • $21.90/hr + $1.50/hr Shift Premium, plus bonus potential and benefits.
