Job Summary: The Fabricator I is responsible for operating and troubleshooting fabrication machinery, completing production documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. This role supports manufacturing output by ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards. It requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow written instructions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing experience and basic machine operation preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude - Strong mechanical, math, and reading abilities.
  • Measurement tool use - Ability to accurately use a ruler and caliper.
  • Analytical skills - Capable of identifying and resolving basic production issues.
  • Attention to detail - Strong eye for small details and quality-focused mindset.
  • Teamwork - Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment.
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3) due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Run and troubleshoot fabrication equipment including Steel Rule Die Press, Lasers, Optical Hole Punch, Knife-Cutter, and Forming Machines.
  • Read, interpret, and follow all steps and specifications listed on the Production Job Traveler and other job specs.
  • Complete all required production paperwork, logs, and digital entries accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform other tasks assigned to support production flow and team needs.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Predictable and reliable attendance.
