Responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment. This role involves running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling. The Fabricator I will conduct inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans, demonstrating a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoot as needed. The position is accountable for the set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of the machine center, and quality assurance of their own work and work area. The role also ensures compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals. All record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications is required. A commitment to quality is essential, striving for reliability and quality in products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance, and meeting all training and documentation criteria. The role requires meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
