About The Position
FAST Global Solutions is seeking a Fabricator I or II on Weekend Shift for our Glenwood, MN location. Friday - Sunday 6am - 6:30pm and get paid for 40 hours plus $1000.00 Sign on Bonus. Requirements
- A qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or at least 1-3 months related experience.
- Must have basic language and math skills and reasoning ability.
- Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously and reach/bend frequently over the course of a 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must have manual dexterity and be able to maintain a frequent firm grasp.
- Must be able to operate a foot pedal for machine operation.
- Must be able to pass a physical strength test to perform the job.
- Vision with depth perception is required.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and levels of humidity.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific fabrication requirements.
- Operates shear, saws, iron workers, brake press and drill presses, to fabricate components to print.
- Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts.
- Moves and positions materials and finished product.
- Performs Autonomous Maintenance as outlined for machinery.
- Verifies dimensions of workpiece, per First Article Inspection procedure.
