About The Position

The Fabricator I is responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment. This role involves operating production machinery such as loaded/unloader, drill press, weld nut station, or saw. The Fabricator I will also conduct inspections, perform machine maintenance, and ensure compliance with quality and production standards. This position is on the 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 1:45 pm to 10:15 pm, with overtime as needed. The role requires a commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High School or GED
Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

Producing high-quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment
Running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling
Conducting inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoots as needed
Set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of machine center, and quality assurance of own work and work area
Assuring compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals
Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications
Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria
Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
