About The Position

This role is responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment. The position involves operating production machinery as a loaded/unloader, or on stations such as a drill press, weld nut, or saw. The Fabricator I will also conduct inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and perform set-up, preparation, fabrication, clean-up, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance for their assigned machine center and work area. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production targets. Accurate record-keeping according to Stryker specifications is essential. A commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in product performance is expected, along with meeting all training and documentation criteria. The position also requires meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekday training (Monday - Thursday : 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Must be able to work weekend permanent schedule (Friday–Saturday: 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday: 5:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.)
Ability to operate required inspection equipment
Ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed
Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

Responsibilities

Producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment
Running production as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling
Conducting inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate required inspection equipment and troubleshoots as needed
Set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean up, preventative maintenance of machine center, and quality assurance of own work and work area
Assuring compliance with policies and procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production goals
Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications
