About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating brakes, shears, drills, and ironworkers to fabricate metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of metalworking techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a safe and organized work environment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fabricator, with demonstrated proficiency in operating brakes, shears, drills, and ironworkers.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, drilling, and punching.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Adhere to all company policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification or OSHA safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Machinery: Proficiently use brakes, shears, drills, and ironworkers to cut, shape, punch, and form metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure fabricated parts meet design requirements.
  • Material Preparation: Measure, mark, and prepare raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, or other metals) for fabrication processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with tolerances and specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including welders, assemblers, and supervisors, to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking and organizing raw materials and finished components to support production schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
