About The Position
This role involves general welding tasks. The Fabricator 2 will be responsible for reading blueprints and technical drawings, operating welding equipment, preparing metals, inspecting welds, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years welding experience
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items
- Safety compliance when wearing protective gear
Nice To Haves
- Welding certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan work
- Operate equipment like MIG, TIG, or arc welders safely
- Prepare metals by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces
- Inspect welds to check strength, size, and structural flaws
- Maintain tools and keep a clean, safe work area
