About The Position

Ferguson Enterprises in Fulton, MS is hiring a Fabrication Technician. This role involves working with hands on technical fabrication, including cutting, threading, beveling, grooving, and welding specialized pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC. The technician will operate equipment, manage their workspace, and ensure the quality of their output. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a stable, growing Fortune 500 company.

Requirements

• Hands-on machine operation experience
• Pipe cutting or threading experience is a big plus
• Forklift or MHE operation experience and comfortable running it
• Welding or pipe end finishing experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must show up, pay attention, and take ownership

Nice To Haves

• Trade school or military background highly respected

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materials
• Set up machines precisely and verify measurements to tight tolerances
• Read blueprints, sketches, and work instructions with confidence
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safely
• Perform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot issues
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Use RF devices to locate, move, and stage material efficiently
