About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting fabrication processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in meeting customer orders. The position involves operating equipment, packaging orders, performing general machine maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The work environment emphasizes safety and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Ability to recognize safety concerns
Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment
A highly motivated self-starter
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to detect minor defects in the finish of the product
Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts according to customer specifications

Responsibilities

Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company’s vision, culture, and strategies.
Ensure safety is the number one priority, promoting a safe work environment and culture.
Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements.
Rotate through strenuous or repetitive jobs at a minimum of every 4 hours to prevent injury.
Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing orders and packaging according to specifications.
Follow current work center schedule to ensure customer service and satisfaction.
Monitor and recommend process improvements for safety, rates, yield, and inspection techniques.
Perform general machine maintenance as necessary.
Provide suggestions and continuous improvement ideas.
Keep work area clean and orderly using the 5S system.
Continually support and improve the department’s key measures.
