About The Position

3M is seeking Fabrication Operator candidates for 3M Indianapolis, Indiana. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors. Maintaining quality & safety standards. Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
Minimum three (3) months of previous experience of operating production machinery.
Working 8–10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge
Ability to read a blueprint
Knowledge of inventory systems
6 months to 1 year of operating production machinery.
