About The Position

Technician ( 2 full-time position available) Fast growing and employee friendly company, with an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Prosthetic Technician in our Langhorne office. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. If you have some experience using some hand tools, and are interested in learning the interesting and innovative field of prosthetics and orthotics, then apply!

Requirements

  • Initiates efforts in quality improvement
  • Moves from task to task readily
  • Recognizes issues and requirements of problems
  • High School Diploma
  • Able to stand for 8 hours
  • Able to lift, push, or pull 20 lbs. or more

Responsibilities

  • Fabricates, including but not limited to, lay-ups and lamination, molding, shaping/forming, assembly, and static bench alignment.
  • Quality checks on materials, required procedures and completed work by ensuring accuracy of fit, operation, durability and cosmetic appearance of prosthetics and orthoses fabricated or repaired.
  • Completes assigned work for device delivery per company standards
  • Determines the prosthetic needs of the patient by interpreting data and measurements provided by the clinician.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
  • Create effective relationships with staff and customers
  • Helps assure internal and external customer responsiveness
  • Always adheres to Employee Handbook, Infection Control Policies and Procedures, applicable protocols and standards including ABC, BOC, and JCAHO
  • Participates in projects as needed
  • Completes other duties as assigned
