About The Position
REMA Tip Top is looking for a hands-on Fabrication Manager to oversee our Rubber Lining, Steel Fabrication, and Belt Shops. This role leads daily operations, employees, production, safety, quality, and scheduling while helping improve overall shop performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, mining, or construction
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Experience with rubber lining, conveyor belts, belt splicing, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial work
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license

- OSHA/MSHA knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across three shops
- Schedule and manage production, projects, and manpower
- Lead, train, and develop shop employees and supervisors
- Oversee rubber lining, belt splicing/repair, and steel fabrication work
- Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met
- Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and materials
- Manage shop costs, budgets, and project profitability
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Field Service, Purchasing, and customers
- Identify ways to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA and company policies
