ACIBuilds.com Summary/Objective: Responsible for managing and developing companywide structural steel fabrication coatings and design at a large commercial and industrial contractor. Trades and services include engineering and design for structural steel, blast, paint, manufacturing, and modular assembly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 10+ years of relevant experience in structural design and manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of the building construction processes, and the various building components involved at each stage of construction
• Advanced understanding of trade detailing, design workflows and practices.
• Experience in managing problem focused solution-implementation from pilot through company-wide adoption as applied toward construction technologies.
• Understanding of Tekla, Pronest, Solidworks, Cadworx, Plant 3D (or comparable software) is a plus.
• Possess the ability and willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
• Must possess creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history).
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures.
• Must be available to work assigned schedules
