About The Position

The Fabrication Machine Operator operates machinery according to customer needs and production demands. Equipment may include a forklift, band saw, press brake, laser, and water jet. The operator supports the Fabrication Lead and fellow team members with a helpful attitude and treats coworkers with respect. Work efforts and daily priorities are directed by the Fabrication Lead, with job priorities assigned by the Fabrication Manager.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated machinery as directed by the Fabrication Lead.
• Promptly alert the Fabrication Lead when machinery is not operating properly.
• Accurately complete job travelers for assigned work and request assistance from the Fabrication Lead as needed.
• Complete job priorities assigned by the Fabrication Manager.
• Support the Fabrication Lead and fellow team members with a helpful attitude and treat coworkers with respect.
• Switch between jobs as needed to meet company and customer needs.
