About The Position
Support and manufacture a wide variety of intricate Ceramic components for production. Operate silk screening equipment, abrasive trimmer equipment and spray-painting systems while following standard work instructions charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work.
Requirements
- Developing job knowledge/skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and data entry.
- Mechanical experience background.
- Good writing and communications skills.
- Basic math skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate silk screening equipment, abrasive trimmer equipment and spray-painting systems.
- Follow standard work instructions charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work.
- Use basic hand tools and fixturing.
- Use PPE for appropriate protection.
- Lift at least 32 pounds.
- Read and understand technical drawings and shop orders.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Install specified tooling and set up jobs to specifications.
- Maintain the tooling inventory, ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Complete required documentation involved in processing of parts, travelers, logs, process control data, etc.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Be easily trained and work well with engineering and supervisor.
