Fabrication Associate I
About The Position
This is a full-time position in Manufacturing, located in Chanhassen, MN. The role involves operating equipment in the Fabrication Work Cell, including mills, tube benders, rollers, and pipe notchers. The associate will utilize technology for job processing and communication, including clocking in and out, inventory management, and job completion tracking. Responsibilities also include assisting in training other employees, adhering to the attendance policy, and performing other duties as assigned. Mandatory overtime may be required when business conditions necessitate it.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well with others.
- Excellent organizational skills for maintaining inventory levels and stock management.
- Problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check as a prerequisite of employment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (75-100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing regularly.
- Must have good dexterity to operate hand tools and paint sprayers and must also have normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
Responsibilities
- Ability to use Basic hand tools, mills, and tube bender proficiently
- Ability to run equipment in Fabrication Work Cell Mill and tube bender, Roller, Pipe notcher
- Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication
- Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion
- Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
- Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
- Adherence to the attendance policy
- All other duties as required
