What You Will Be Doing Leading an advanced manufacturing teams in a dynamic and high-stakes environment. Overseeing the fabrication of complex composite parts and assemblies. Supporting multiple classified programs aligned with ADP’s long-range strategic objectives. Ensuring operational excellence by meeting or exceeding schedule, cost, safety, and quality targets. Providing strategic leadership to ensure optimal staffing levels and workforce readiness. Responsible for overall department budgets and scheduling of assets to support program needs. Responsible for build team staffing, safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance. This position is fulltime onsite in Palmdale, CA This position is a Weekend shift. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Experience Leading in Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Production Operations Environment at a Lead to Supervisor level.
  • Leadership qualities related to personal and interpersonal skills, effective communications, presentation skills, decisions making and organization.
  • Ability to manage projects (products build, budgets, schedule, &/or risk and opportunity).
  • Experience working within Aerospace industry
  • Experience working with in a Represented/Union workforce
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • An LM leader at this level typically has 3-5 years of lead/management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Previous developmental production experience.
  • CAM training and/or Certification
  • Experience leading &/or implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Experience in the manufacture of advanced composites, structures, systems and coatings.
  • Previous experience with lean manufacturing, corrective action and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, Production Engineering Planning, Production Control, MRP, Quality or Systems Integration.
