What You Will Be Doing Leading an advanced manufacturing teams in a dynamic and high-stakes environment. Overseeing the fabrication of complex composite parts and assemblies. Supporting multiple classified programs aligned with ADP’s long-range strategic objectives. Ensuring operational excellence by meeting or exceeding schedule, cost, safety, and quality targets. Providing strategic leadership to ensure optimal staffing levels and workforce readiness. Responsible for overall department budgets and scheduling of assets to support program needs. Responsible for build team staffing, safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance. Requirements

  • Experience Leading in Manufacturing &/or Production Operations Environment at a mid-level or above.
  • Experience in a Full Spectrum Leadership role with qualities related to personal and interpersonal skills, effective communications, presentation skills, decisions making and organization.
  • Experience with Workforce Development (employee recruitment, hiring &/or development)
  • Experience interfacing directly with government customers.
  • Experience in managing projects (EVMS, budget, schedule, &/or risk and opportunity).
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • An LM leader at this level typically has 15 - 20 years of professional management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Previous developmental production experience.
  • CAM training and/or Certification
  • Experience leading &/or implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Experience in the manufacture of advanced composites, structures, systems and coatings.
  • Previous experience with lean manufacturing, corrective action and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, Production Engineering Planning, Production Control, MRP, Quality or Systems Integration.
