About The Position

The Fabric Production Finisher is responsible for the finishing of printed textiles to specific sizes and at the quality of expectation. This role involves measuring, cutting, applying SEG, velcro, and stitching using an automated sewing machine. The position also includes packaging and staging completed fabric orders, fitting and QC of SEG fabrics into framing systems, and preparing the final product for shipping. The finisher will also maintain inventory supplies, ensure the safe use of tools and equipment, and provide quality control at designated steps. This role requires basic skills with industrial sewing techniques and equipment, as well as basic sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting abilities. The finisher will read and calculate job ticket information and follow specific fabrication instructions.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Packaging and staging completed fabric orders.
Troubleshooting and maintaining sewing machines.
Finishing of printed textiles to specific sizes and at the quality of expectation.
Measuring, cutting, applying SEG, velcro and stitching using an automated sewing machine.
Fitting and QC all SEG fabrics into framing systems.
Reading and calculating department job ticket(s) information; follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by Work Order(s), Clients(s), or Supervisor(s).
Maintaining inventory supplies as needed.
Preparing final product for shipping and delivery to multiple locations; creating custom packaging when necessary.
Maintaining and safely using all Fabric Production finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting, and packaging.
Providing quality control at designated steps on the process.
Performing other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Graphics Manager or Director.
