About The Position
Avocado is currently looking for a Fabric Cutter to be part of the Cut and Sew team, responsible for cutting and handling fabric to be used in the production of our eco-friendly organic products. You will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations. The pay range for this role is $21.00-$24.56 hourly.
Requirements
- Minimum of (1) years of experience in sewing in a production manufacturing work setting environment.
- Follow company safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations
- Report incident injury and hazard to managers
- Able to identify work hazard situations
- Regular and predictable attendance
Responsibilities
- Spreads fabric on machine table preparatory to cutting
- Draws guide lines or markings on materials or workpieces using patterns or other references.
- Separate cutting waste, unloads cut fabric parts from table and bundles cut pieces together
- Computes dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering stretching of material.
