About The Position

The Module-Based FAB Onsite Technician Level I (FOT I) is a UCT employee working onsite within the Fab at Intel in South Chandler, Arizona. This role supports engineering activities and technical functions, interfacing across Intel and UCT systems to ensure data accuracy and availability for timely issue resolution. FOT I technicians support preventive maintenance (PM) operations, parts handling, and documentation processes within a highly structured cleanroom environment. This role is suited for individuals building experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing who can follow detailed procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy.

  • Exposure to SOP-driven work environments (pharma, aerospace, electronics)
  • Basic mechanical or technical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities by preparing, handling, and tracking parts and kits for semiconductor equipment
  • Assist with tool teardown, part removal, packaging, and preparation for shipment to UCT
  • Perform kit assembly and verification, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Support leak checks and basic inspections under established procedures
  • Coordinate movement of parts and kits between Intel and UCT
  • Maintain accurate documentation including: Chemical usage logs, Decontamination labels, Shipment documentation
  • Interface across Intel and UCT systems to support data accuracy and issue tracking
  • Assist engineering teams by collecting data for: Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs), Fails on Install (FOIs)
  • Record maintenance and production support activities accurately
  • Follow strict cleanroom protocols, contamination control, and safety standards
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, delays, or issues appropriately
  • Adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced fab environment
