About The Position

BASX, an integral part of AAON, manufactures custom HVAC solutions in Redmond, Oregon. The Fabrication Helper supports fabricators and helps keep production operations running smoothly. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to gain manufacturing experience, learn multiple trade skills, and develop a career in manufacturing. The stated starting base pay is $21.50, with a listed pay range of $15.71–$23.56. The role is based in a manufacturing facility, where seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure may occur. The schedule is C Shift, Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials and products using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
Aid in assembling components and parts according to specifications provided by the fabrication team.
Keep work areas clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
Prepare tools and equipment for fabricators by cleaning and lubricating them and ensuring they are in good working condition.
Assist with quality-control checks to ensure finished products meet established standards and specifications.
Support fabricators by holding materials in place, operating machinery under supervision, and performing other directed tasks.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
