About The Position

The FA Silicon Engineer will perform day-to-day activities for device-level and system-level Failure Analysis (FA). This role involves performing Electrical Fault isolation using multiple FA tools and producing technical reports of failure analysis findings. The engineer will also evaluate and maintain new equipment and techniques related to failure analysis.

Requirements

• BSEE with 1+ years of experience or equivalent degree of Engineering or physics and a proven track record in performing failure analysis of IC devices and module level FA.
• Hands-on proficiency with Physical and Electrical Failure Analysis at Silicon level.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency with board level FA.
• Hands on experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, and decapsulatation, sample preparation and Emission microscopy,Laser scan microscopy, micro-probing and Nano-probing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Highly organized and detailed with lab analyses
• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple high priority tasks at the same time
• Flexible and able to quickly change course to meet the needs of the business
• Willing to collaborate closely across the organization
• Enjoys working with a highly motivated lab team
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
