Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineering professional to join our team as a Senior Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for F135 Turbine Airfoils. In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful design, development, production, and sustainment of turbine airfoils for the F135 Base program. You will play a key role in driving transformation, improving project execution, and achieving program objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 10 years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years with an advanced degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership or similar roles.
  • Experience with turbine component design, development, and sustainment.
  • Proficiency in program/project management tools, such as SAP, EVMS, and Teamcenter.
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams and influencing cross-functional team members.
  • Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and technical/business metrics to meet program requirements.
  • Experience as a Military Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, such as CORE or QCPC.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to engineering and program management teams.
  • Exposure to the design, manufacture, development, validation, and support of turbine components.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for part-level ownership, ensuring effective communication, risk management, and execution of program requirements.
  • Lead the IPT in identifying, managing, and resolving key technical risks and issues with defined action plans and measurable progress.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of successful technical and program reviews, ensuring deliverables meet program standards.
  • Manage IPT budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with program requirements and achieving on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Drive IPT technical and business metrics by setting measurable targets, tracking performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering management, program management, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and success.
  • Provide technical support for validation engine build and test activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Lead the implementation of Agile processes for the IPT, including team training and process improvements.
  • Manage tasks to meet Military Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements.
