Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. P&W Military Engines Sustainment team is seeking an energetic, execution-oriented project manager to join our team. In this role, the F135 Subcontractor Management CAM will directly support the F135 Subcontractor Integration Manager and F135 Sustainment Program Managers in the oversight of Collins and Rolls-Royce Sustainment efforts on the F135 program. You will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical execution of a subset of their work-scope. This individual will have an exciting opportunity to partner cross-functionally with P&W/Rolls-Royce/Collins EVMS, Program, Contracts, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet the growing needs of the program. This position provides an opportunity to understand multiple aspects of the F135 Program and of Sustainment. In this role you will get exposure to depot stand up activities, repair/repair development, spares, support equipment, and much more. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical skills, and strive to build strong relationships through interactions with our Subcontractors and the USG customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering, logistics, or business management. Non-specific bachelor’s degrees will be considered based on relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, such as Project Management, Program Management, Earned Value Management, Supply Chain Management, and/or Sustainment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant project-based work - having worked on and/or fostered a project through to completion required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project-based work involving planning, executing, and monitoring progress
  • Previous experience as an Earned Value Analyst, or experience/knowledge of EVMS techniques and principles
  • Previous experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM), or experience managing project budgets/schedules/performance
  • Experience in government contracting, program management, military engines, propulsion system sustainment
  • Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sustainment and Subcontractor Program Management in handling all aspects of the Program, including: Monitor the Cost, Schedule, and Technical execution of accounts assigned in accordance with P&W's EVMS System Description
  • Provide Program Management support (Contractual Flowdown, PO Issuance, Proposal Support)
  • Lead projects to enhance the integration of Subcontractor efforts
