F135 Compression Systems Engineer (Onsite)
About The Position
Pratt & Whitney's (P&W) Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group, Designers of advanced Fans and High Pressure Compressors, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Engineer to join its team in support of the F135 Sustainment Program at Tinker AFB, OK. This role involves working as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions. The engineer will support and participate in projects aimed at implementing designs, inspections, and repairs that meet advanced engine-specific requirements in operational service. A key aspect of the role is to interface directly with the customer, the Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines, and to conduct inspections, summarizing and documenting findings in accordance with P&W procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Degree in engineering
- Design and/or Structures experience
- Knowledge of composite design and analysis technology, as well as manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods for composites.
- Possess strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
