The F&B Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations. This role requires immediate and gracious response to guest service issues, reporting situations to the Director of F&B, and maximizing guest service. The manager must conduct themselves professionally, ensuring a congenial dining room atmosphere and possessing knowledge of menus and guest information. Adaptability to change, new situations, staffing, and procedures is essential. The role also involves understanding special service procedures and paperwork, maintaining regular attendance and punctuality in uniform, and fostering teamwork with co-workers and supervisors. The F&B Manager will handle guest service issues promptly and graciously, provide input on staff performance, and be able to perform duties of Host, Server, Server Assistant, and Food Runner when needed. A thorough understanding of the employee handbook policies and procedures is required, along with the ability to perform any task requested by Food and Beverage Management. Additional tasks may be assigned at the discretion of management, and responsibilities may be revised based on business volume and needs.
