About The Position

Be the warm welcome that starts every memorable dining experience at Clifftop, Anakeesta’s signature mountaintop restaurant. As a Host, you’ll greet guests with genuine hospitality, manage seating and waitlists, and ensure smooth communication across the dining room. Your friendly, organized, and calm presence will help set the tone for exceptional service high above the Smokies.

Requirements

A positive and welcoming attitude
Must be at least 16 years old
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a warm, inviting attitude upon arrival
Seat guests according to the established rotation system to support smooth service flow
Present menus and provide helpful information about Clifftop’s offerings
Manage waitlists, call-ahead seating, and guest paging systems
Perform opening, shift-change, and closing duties efficiently
Follow all alcohol awareness and safety procedures
Keep the host stand clean, stocked, and organized; maintain clean menus
Clean, sanitize, restock, and store host-area items according to company standards
Clearly communicate guest needs to servers, bartenders, and managers
Address guest concerns calmly and promptly, involving management when appropriate
Assist the team during busy periods and support overall restaurant operations
Notify staff of large party arrivals and special requests
Attend all required food & beverage training sessions
Accurately handle POS and cash transactions
Maintain to-go order lists and paging programs; prepare and deliver to-go orders
Perform additional duties as assigned to support Clifftop operations
