About The Position

Riggs Washington DC is seeking an experienced and passionate Host for its brand-new independent hotel. The ideal candidate will have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market, thrive in a non-stop environment, possess an open mind, a great sense of humor, and enjoy finding solutions, working with a team, and proactively creating positive outcomes. Adaptability, calmness under pressure, resourcefulness, and efficiency are key attributes for this role.

Requirements

Exceptional Organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market
A minimum of one year of restaurant experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Welcome guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
Provide and create a positive environment for everyone in the restaurant.
Receive calls and book reservations for the guest.
Obtain guest’s information in preparation for their reservation and arrival.
Anticipate guest’s needs, and create personal and memorable experiences and solutions.
Perform all other duties as requested by the restaurant manager.
