Front of House General Managers are visionary leaders responsible for FOH operations, maintaining operational goals, promoting teamwork amongst staff, and elevating service quality and safety to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelors or Hospitality Management degree preferred
  • ServSafe certification or regional equivalent required
  • 5+ years of restaurant experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front-of-house management team, line level staffing and operations for Breckenridge Hospitality F&B locations. Inclusive of banquet, full serve and counter serve outlets. This role is primarily a leadership position. However, regular duties include providing assistance and working in any and all areas, wherever needed, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work pro-actively with Lodging location GM’s, Lodging Sr. Director and lodging stakeholders to deliver excellent customer experiences to drive guest loyalty
  • Manage administrative duties including but not limited to payroll, hiring, cash management, reservations, budget creation & management, purchasing, inventory, and records management
  • Monthly report out of F&B outlet financial performance to market leaders and financial stakeholders
  • Be knowledgeable of local health code, general food safety and State of Colorado liquor code.
  • Perform routine inspections to maintain facility standards for service, food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Review staff performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction providing recognition or corrective action, including termination, if necessary
  • Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on F&B operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Breckenridge Hospitality executive chef and culinary team, Summit County Sr. Director of Hospitality to General Manager of Village at Breckenridge and Breckenridge Hospitality Food and Beverage offerings across all outlets.
  • Maintain strong relations with Breckenridge Mtn.Dining team, Breckenridge Hospitality culinary team and the Keystone Hospitality F&B team in order to maximize operational efficiencies throughout the year.
  • Meet the established deadlines and administrative expectations of Vail Resorts operational management duties.
  • Other similar duties as assigned.
