About The Position

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant for SAVOR at the Moscone Center. Responsible for providing excellent support services to the Catering Operations Department. Other responsibilities include ensuring efficient office operations, maintaining organized records, and processing paperwork relative to packers, delivery receipts, tip sheets, etc. To be successful in this role, you'll need administrative skills and experience in a fast-paced office environment. Ultimately, you will help support our team to ensure events run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a fast paced office environment
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to calculate amounts
  • Ability to execute instructions, in written and/or oral form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to move around the facility, and from building to building.

Responsibilities

  • Process all paperwork necessary to the Operations Department:
  • Review BEO distributions with Operations Directors
  • Create Packets under Operations Directors supervision
  • Organize DRs for Operations Managers
  • Return DRs to Sales Department
  • Turn in Tip Sheets relevant to services rendered, under Operations Directors' supervision
  • Transmit special menus as needed in conjunction with BEOs
  • Keep track of when paperwork is due as per the CBA
  • Maintain open communications with all other departments
  • Other related duties as pertains to paperwork for the Operations Department
  • Adhere to all ASM Global policies and procedures
