About The Position

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as the F-35 Supply Operations Center Leader at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Our team is responsible for functioning as a conduit between internal and external customers and F-35 Sustainment organizations including Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sustainment Performance Management, Field Operations, Support Equipment, Training, and others as needed. The F-35 Ops Center is a 24/7/365 operation, and the candidate may be required to work different shifts and days as needed. Shifts will include first, second, and third. Work days will include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be a United States citizen.
Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting.
Must be able to obtain a final Secret Security Clearance after starting.
Experience leading, coaching and developing team-members
Experience communicating across levels of an organization, functions and teams
5 years supply operations experience
Experience in the use of MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Customer Support experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a fast paced, dynamic, Operations Center or Headquarters type of environment.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college
Experience with Earned Value Management System
Project Management or Sharepoint
Must be able to obtain F-35 Program access
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in the recruitment &/or development of talent to strengthen the organization.
Experience at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support of 5th generation fighter aircraft.
Fluent in any of the following languages: Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, or others.

Responsibilities

Serve as an F-35 Lightning Sustainment Operations Center Leader reporting to the F-35 Operations Center Supply Manager.
Lead a team to provide primary, first-line support for all F-35 Operations Center customers and sites.
Provide briefings and tours to internal and external customers regarding the activities of the fleet through F-35 Operations Center.
Keep the F-35 Operations Center processes current and propose and implement new processes and best practices as the F-35 Operations Center matures.
Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
