About The Position

This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the JSF program at the Patuxent River flight test site. This position will require employee to work in a team environment maintaining F-35 aircraft. Tasks will include items such as aircraft Inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul, modification, fabrication and weapon loading as required. Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years hands - on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS Avionics Systems Craftsman discipline, or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA/FCC instrumentation license.
  • Experience with multi-facets of wire/connector repair to include but not limited to evaluation and testing.
  • Experience with reading/interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
  • Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms Documentation.
  • Experience with Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start.
  • Ability to support customer requested business travel or TDY
  • Ability to attain required qualifications within projected training timeline.
