About The Position

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a mid-level Data Analyst and dashboard specialist to support the F-35 AV/MS Program Execution Group. The role develops advanced analytics, dashboards, and automated reporting to provide actionable insights across financial, manpower, organizational, and operational domains. The analyst supports decision-making and forecasting across the F-35 enterprise, working with minimal oversight and engaging directly with government and subcontract stakeholders. The position is fully remote and requires an active Secret clearance. The analyst translates stakeholder requirements into analytic applications, auditable policies, and process frameworks. The role emphasizes secure dashboard environments compliant with DoD standards, strong data governance, and clear communication of complex analytical findings to leadership. Expertise with Qlik Sense, RShiny, Tableau, SQL, statistical methods, and automated reporting tools is required.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance at the time of consideration, which must be maintained.
DoD federal service as a military member or civilian in data management; F-35 JPO experience is preferred.
For Data Analyst 4: 10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; 8 years with a master's degree in a related field; or 14 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience developing and deploying production-level interactive dashboards.
Expert proficiency in Qlik Sense, RShiny, and Tableau.
Expert proficiency in regression, named entity recognition (NER), and data cleansing; proficient in clustering.
Expert proficiency in SQL and proficiency in R and Python.
Experience with automated reporting tools such as NPrinting.
Strong understanding of data governance and security standards, including DoD compliance.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive problem-solving ability, including identifying gaps and proposing actionable solutions.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree (MS and/or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience supporting analytics innovation in defense contexts.
Experience delivering transformative analytics solutions to defense customers.
Experience with the F-35 JPO.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior stakeholders to assess analytic needs and develop custom dashboards for financial, manpower, and organizational decision-making.
Advise leadership on dashboard design, KPI selection, and data governance aligned with mission priorities.
Design and implement automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Maintain secure dashboard environments in compliance with DoD standards and ensure continuity of critical reporting tools.
Collaborate with leadership to develop analytic applications addressing high-priority operational requirements.
Build and deploy applications and dashboards to analyze operational data, identify causes of delays, and improve forecasting accuracy.
Develop interactive dashboards for vendor price comparisons and provide insights for negotiations and cost-reduction strategies.
Apply advanced statistical modeling to evaluate operational metrics and optimize resource allocation.
Translate requirements into comprehensive, auditable, enterprise-level policies and process frameworks.
Communicate complex analytics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
