About The Position

As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-a war d federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. On our team, you’ll support and draft program milestone documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of DoD and Service-level series directives and analyze program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. You’ll apply advanced and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, including advising F-35 Joint Program Office clients on DoD acquisition program management. You’ll analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, Statements of Work ( SOW ) , funding documents, contract documentation, agreements, and Acquisition Decision Memorandums. You’ll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll deliver meaningful acquisition support. You’ll work independently and review or guide activities of junior employees.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation with U.S. government clients
  • Experience with multiple contract types, including fixed-price, time and material, and cost reimbursable
  • Experience negotiating teaming, non-disclosure, and subcontract agreements from the subcontractor role with industry partners
  • Experience reviewing terms and c ond itions and SOW for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to support complex contract activities that require the development of creative solutions and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Ability to establish and client relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition
  • Experience with 5th Generation fighter acquisition, including F-35 and F-22 or other major weapon s systems
  • Experience working in a DoD classified program
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies , procedures, and processes
  • Knowledge of DoD requirements and budget processes
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding and highly visible program
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • PMP, DAU, or NCMA Certification
