About The Position

BGS Engineering at The Boeing Company is seeking to hire a first-line leader to manage a team of project managers. This role is responsible for the delivery of F-15 Support Engineering Data deliverables, including Tech Data, Product Support Analysis, and Provisioning. The position ensures adherence to technical and product quality standards and integrates across all Product Support elements (Pubs, PSA, Provisioning, Retrofit, SE, etc.) as well as externally with business partners, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product lifecycle support, program/project management, and change management.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership.
  • Experience leading and organizing deliverables to meet deadlines with minimal direction.
  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods.
  • Must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing multi-disciplinary product support roles.
  • Leads planning and integration activities for MxE programs supporting BDS & BGS USAF Fighter and Trainer Solutions.
  • Applies knowledge of product support disciplines and program management best practices.
  • Develops business objectives; develops internal policies, charters, and plans.
  • Integrates technical design practices, first pass quality initiatives and content management/sustainment strategies.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provides technical product support to supplier management for oversight and coordination of supplier activities.
  • Coordinates and directs use of enterprise software for workflow management, technical design/development, quality control and delivery of training products.
