About The Position

F-15 Domestic Project Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business unit is currently seeking a F-15 Project Engineer to support F-15 Software Development and Advanced Programs in St. Louis, Missouri: one of our largest, most dynamic sites with a broad business portfolio. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for coordinating across disciplines to drive project execution for F-15 Domestic activities. This role requires close interaction with Mission Systems, and familiarity with hardware and software development is highly valuable. This role offers visibility to leadership by working closely with program managers and the customer on the subject projects. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
• This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources, management, and customers.
• Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
• Responds to dynamic changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
• Leads project execution to complete the work statement with quality, safety, and on time delivery.
• Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
• Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
• Identifies performance metrics.
• Works independently to provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans.
