About The Position

Progressive Eyecare in South Jordan, UT is hiring a full-time Eye Care Technician – Optometric Assistant to join our friendly and professional eyecare team. This full-time healthcare position requires some evening and Saturday availability. As our Eye Care Technician - Optometric Assistant, you'll greet patients, gather their medical history, and assist with treatment plans. You'll perform preliminary eye tests and support the optometrist during specialized exams. Every day, you'll help create a smooth, welcoming experience for patients while delivering high-quality care with professionalism and empathy.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• English fluency
• Computer proficiency and typing skills
• Ability to work on your feet throughout your shift
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings

Nice To Haves

• Spanish fluency
• Eye care or medical assisting experience
