About The Position

This position is from 7pm-7am Swing Shift. The objective is to manage department yarn waste, packing supplies, recycling material, and to expedite loading and unloading of all these materials and lean all needed areas.

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow verbal work instructions and accomplish assigned tasks with little direct supervision.
  • Must pass the Lift Truck Certification exam annually and operate lift trucks.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to operate baler.
  • Able to separate cardboard waste into separate categories.
  • Moving full waste containers from behind the Neumag lines to baler, trailer or staging areas.
  • Keeping Neumag Production floor clear of waste.
  • Keep polymer waste streams separate products (waste, Tio2, odd lot and Q1) separated.
  • Check the tube recycling bins and bale the contents using the baler. This includes recycling bin from third floor operators. Third floor operator will place a buggy on the elevator for utility. Buggy is to be picked up with a lift truck and taken to a dumpster outside of Annex.

Responsibilities

  • Replace waste containers when they are full.
  • Keep waste buggies, boxes, and trash cans placed neatly in the staging area.
  • Weigh full waste containers.
  • Take full waste containers to the baling area and bale them.
  • Record machine waste totals on the waste form located at the scale.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and turned in to the supervisor before shift change.
  • Communicate with oncoming utility operator any problems experienced during the shift.
  • Provide line Operators with daily supplies such as tubes, dividers, and trays.
  • Dispose of trash into the dumpster.
  • Keep the machine and assigned work area(s) clean.
  • Pass the Lift Truck Certification exam annually and operate lift trucks.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed (Raw materials, supplies, etc.).
  • Operate scrubber and vacuum for cleaning purposes.
  • Follow verbal work instructions and accomplish assigned tasks with little direct supervision.
  • Assist shipping/receiving as needed.
  • Operate baler.
  • Separate cardboard waste into separate categories.
  • Move full waste containers from behind the Neumag lines to baler, trailer or staging areas.
  • Keep Neumag Production floor clear of waste.
  • Keep polymer waste streams separate products (waste, Tio2, odd lot and Q1) separated.
  • Check the tube recycling bins and bale the contents using the baler.
  • Follow Task List and perform any other duties assigned by Shift Lead or Supervisors.
