Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of manufacturing, machine repair, or production experience.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operation experience.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and process sheets.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Experience using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, or straight edges.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow established safety procedures.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods and frequent lifting of 5–25 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Operate the saw safely and efficiently while maintaining quality cuts and troubleshooting common issues.
Operate stretching equipment according to order specifications and monitor material quality using micrometers, calipers, straight edges, and gauges.
Inspect material for squareness, flatness, bow, gauge, and other specifications outlined in the work instructions.
Perform simple maintenance to support saw performance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Provide backup support to the Press Operator and Head Stretcher and complete cross-training on both positions.
