Extrusion Production Associate | 12-Hour Rotating Shift
About The Position
CMI-HR Facility Solutions is hiring dependable candidates for an Extrusion Technician / Extrusion Associate position with a plastic manufacturing company in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full-time opportunity in a plant environment with 12-hour shifts. The selected candidate will work through CMI-HR Facility Solutions during the probationary period. After successfully completing the required evaluation period, there may be an opportunity to be hired directly by the client company, based on attendance, performance, attitude, safety, and business needs. The ideal candidate must be reliable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, tolerant of strong odors, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position supports the extrusion process, quality expectations, production schedules, safety procedures, and daily plant operations.
Requirements
- Math skills for working with fractions and decimals, including multiplying, dividing, and converting measurements
- Excellent attendance and work history
- Good mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge or comfort with hydraulics, mechanics, and equipment operations
- Leadership qualities
