About The Position

The Extrusion Packer is responsible for the packing of extruded product. This role involves inspecting completed product for function, quality, and conformance to specifications, preparing product for shipping by assembling boxes, packing, and labeling, and operating production machines, machine tools, and equipment used to coil, flare, and punch parts per specifications. The position requires working independently and in teams to ensure a quality product, cleaning the work area and production equipment, and following ISO procedures.

Requirements

Demonstrated skills for the position
Proven basic math skills.
On-the-job training in the Extrusion Department.
Must maintain fully satisfactory production performance levels.
ISO procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect completed product for function, quality and conformance to detail sheet and control plan speciation's.
Prepare product for shipping including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product.
Operates production machines, machine tools and equipment used to coil, flare, and punch parts per specifications.
Work independently and in teams to ensure a quality product.
Cleaning the work area and production equipment.
