About The Position
The Extrusion Press Operator will be responsible for the process of applying coating to drawn and cut steel wire.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined and willing to utilize these skills to enhance the value of the team.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Be safety conscious and have a “safety first” attitude.
- Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of safely operating the forklift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
Nice To Haves
- Press Operator experience preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process.
- Perform required quality checks.
- Complete machine setup/changeover promptly.
- Input data accurately into Routecard.
- Cross-train in other areas.
