About The Position

The Extrusion Press Operator will be responsible for the process of applying coating to drawn and cut steel wire. Candidate must be able to learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process. This person must be mechanically inclined and willing to utilize these skills to enhance the value of the team.

Requirements

Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work well with others.
Be safety conscious and have a “safety first” attitude.
Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of safely operating the forklift
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders

Nice To Haves

Press Operator experience preferred.
Computer experiences preferred.
Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

Responsibilities

Perform required quality checks
Complete machine setup/changeover promptly
Input data accurately into Routecard
