About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. This role involves adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking the usage of and ordering replacement parts, and performing detailed setups on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments. The technician will also be responsible for keeping mechanical machine components in top operating condition and performing simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions. A key aspect of this role is diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical problems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes. The technician will also troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLCs and repair related issues.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
Proficient in Word and Excel
Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance

Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians
