About The Position

Superior Outdoor Products, established in 1978, specializes in high-quality, easy-to-install fencing and railing products for outdoor living spaces. We are seeking team players who are problem solvers and committed to continuous growth. This role operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the possibility of additional overtime. The pay rate starts at $24+ per hour, based on experience, plus a shift differential.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Safely operate a forklift in a high-traffic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing setting.
• May be subject to the current local weather conditions.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and listen.
• The employee will at times need to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epicor and computers would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Extrusion Machine
• Maintain the flow of production, from raw material to finished component
• Use saws and other power tools
• Other duties as assigned
• Actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Support and help in other areas as the manufacturing schedule dictates
• Measuring components produced by the machine using precision measurement tools
