This role involves operating extrusion equipment, inspecting products, maintaining quality standards, and managing paperwork. The Extrusion Associate will visually inspect extruded product for consistent appearance and length, ensure product consistency and standards (including counts, packing patterns, and labels), maintain required paperwork, perform online quality inspections, and operate packaging equipment. The position requires the ability to stand for 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and possess basic math and English reading skills. No prior experience is required, but manufacturing and extrusion experience is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Related machine operation experience.
  • Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
  • Basic Math skills.
  • Ability to read English and quality test product.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety polices.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.
  • Ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels.
  • Maintains paperwork as required.
  • Performs online quality inspections.
  • Operates packaging equipment.
